Roamware launches carrier services Cloud offering

By Telecom Lead Team: Roamware, a provider of mobile
operator service solutions, announced the launch of a Carrier Services Cloud that
offers capabilities including roaming & local services, fraud prevention,
management and customer experience management (CEM) and others.

The company also launched new products including version
7.0 of its NTR traffic steering product.

Roamware also announced Roamware Mobile Horizon, a
5-phase roadmap for mobile operator services through 2020.

With Mobile Horizon we are showing the Mobile Operator
community a roadmap for strategic planning and development of their services in
partnership with Roamware. To do this you need a multi-year view of
the technologies, which Mobile Horizon provides, versus point-in-time solutions
that meet short term objectives. We have the thought
leadership and delivery record across a worldwide customer community to be their
partner of choice,” said Ori Sasson, chairman and CEO of Roamware.

The 5-phase roadmap for the industry details future
Virtual Service Exchanges based on open platforms, and Roamware’s 5-phase
technology roadmap aligns to this with a Mobile Open Service Interface that
will allow developers to participate in new service offerings. The result will
be greater operator service value, and a linkage between the
infrastructure and applications that today simply operate over-the-top.

I speak with Operators all over the world and they tell
me that having the same services as their competitors only leads to
commoditization. They need the ability to innovate quickly at a speed which
their current infrastructure vendors such as Ericsson, Huawei or Alcatel-Lucent
cannot support,” said John Jiang, executive vice president and CTO of Roamware.

Mobile Horizon and Carrier Services Cloud extend beyond
Roamware’s RoamCloud offering to include local services, management and
financial services capabilities not previously available. The CSC leverages
Roamware’s Macalla MFS platform currently deployed globally and the basis of
Roamware’s Social Top Up partnership with Facebook.
