Professional A/V switchers and splitters from IOGEAR AVIOR support 3D

AVIOR, a custom installation line for IOGEAR, announced
four and eight port versions of 3D-ready A/V switchers and splitters. Designed
to give installers flexibility with 3D technology in their commercial and
residential A/V projects, the switchers allow up to eight additional HDMI(R)
devices to be connected to a single display while the splitters bring content
from a single HDMI source to as many as eight 3D displays.

AVIOR’s new rack-mountable 4×1 and 8×1 HDMI switchers
provide HD and 3D switching between devices such as DVRs, set-top boxes,
Blu-ray and DVD players, game consoles, media servers, computers and more on a
single connected display.

Both versions support 1080p with deep color as well as
Dolby(R) TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. For control, the HDMI switchers
provide a built in serial port with RS-232 bi-directional capabilities along
with front panel push button and IR remote control.

The new AVIOR HDMI Audio/Video Splitters are also four
and eight port devices, but instead take HD audio/video from a single HDMI
source and direct it to as many as eight separate HD TVs or displays with 3D
support.

Also HDCP compliant, the units support the highest
quality HD video and multi-channel digital audio; enabling the splitting of HD
content from DVR/set-top boxes, Blu-ray players, computers and other HD or non
HD devices.

“As A/V systems get more complex, we need devices
that connect components together and streamline access to content, making the
user experience as fluid as possible,” said Bill Nguyen, senior marketing
manager at IOGEAR
. “Our AVIOR switchers
work with the most advanced 3D displays and HDMI components to provide
connectivity options for a variety of settings, potentially saving resources
and headaches for installers.”
