New York Military selects Intellicheck Mobilisa’s fugitive finder system

Intellicheck Mobilisa, an access control and wireless
security systems, announced it has received a contract from another New
York-area military base for Fugitive Finder, a handheld ID-reading technology
that scans various forms of identification and instantly compares the
information to over 100 government databases in order to provide background
checks.

Security threats to military bases are unfortunately
still a regular part of military life. As we have seen all too often, these
threats are very real, and the military is doing everything in their power to
reduce them. Fugitive Finder offers these bases an added layer of security,
allowing for real-time ‘bad guy’ checks right at the gate,” said Steve
Williams, chief executive officer of
Intellicheck Mobilisa.

This latest customer joins a growing list of military and
government facilities in the New York area to choose Intellicheck Mobilisa’s
Fugitive Finder system, a list that includes Fort Drum, West Point Military
Academy, and the Ports of New York/New Jersey, to name a few.
