solutions, announced the launch of CA Technologies full suite of identity and
access management (IAM) products as a service to help enterprises cost effectively
improve business efficiencies and help meet compliance demands associated with
ensuring secure identity management and access to applications.
The Mycroft Managed Security Service for CA
Technologies provides a quick-start identity and access management solution
through the delivery of a full range of pre-configured CA IAM security products
in a fully managed, private cloud environment.
The offering is designed to deliver organizations
as-needed scalability and guaranteed availability without the long and cost
prohibitive implementation times that can sometimes plague traditional security
configurations.
Built on the CA AppLogic(R) turn-key cloud computing
platform that seamlessly composes, runs and scales distributed applications,
Mycroft’s new service offering leverages its top tier security operations
center to ensure each aspect of the environment – from the hardware up to each
application – is monitored and maintained 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by a
team of highly trained security experts.

implementation templates provide quick and reliable access to CA’s security

CA Technologies announced that it has been selected
by Tesco to manage its global IT infrastructure across the entire Tesco Group,
including Tesco Bank, Tesco DotCom and Tesco Mobile.
The $45 million deal sees a number of CA Technologies
solutions being implemented to give Tesco visibility into the health and performance
of its IT supply chain, including mainframe, desktop computers, servers,
networks, credit card transactions, suppliers and supply orders.
