MWC 2015: Airtel Africa, Telenor CEOs to keynote

Telecom industry body GSMA today said CEO of Airtel Africa, Telenor and Facebook will keynote at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2015) in Barcelona in March.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will participate in a keynote on Monday, 2 March.

United States Federal Communications Commission Chairman Tom Wheeler will take the stage on 3 March.

Christian De Faria, CEO of Airtel Africa, Mario Zanotti, senior vice president of Operations at Millicom and Jon Fredrik Baksaas, president and CEO of Telenor will discuss efforts to extend connectivity to more people around the world.

FCC chairman Tom Wheeler and GSMA director general Anne Bouverot will discuss the impact of recent telecommunications regulation in the United States.

Sundar Pichai, senior vice president, Android, Chrome & Apps at Google, will also be one of the speakers.
