Mer Telemanagement Solutions posts $3.0 million revenue for Q1 FY12

Telemanagement Solutions (MTS) has posted revenues of $3.0 million for the
first quarter of 2012, compared with $2.8 million in revenues during
the same quarter last year.

 

The company generated $833 thousand revenue from product
sales in Q1 2012, against $1 million for a year ago. Revenues from services
stood at $2.1 million, as compared to $1.7 million a year ago.

 

The company’s operating profit was $280 thousand in
the first quarter of 2012, compared to operating profit
of $4,000 thousand for the first quarter of 2011.

 

Net income for the first quarter was $310 thousand,
or $0.07 per diluted share, compared to net income of$133 thousand,
or $0.03 per diluted share, in the first quarter of 2011.

 

The company’s operating expenses stood at $1.6 million
for Q1 FY12, as compared to $1.8 million for Q1 FY11.

 

As of March 31, 2012, MTS had cash and marketable
securities of $3.5 million as compared to $3.4 million as
of December 31, 2011.

develop its Telecom Expense Management opportunities through partners, new
customer acquisitions and expanding our existing customer base. In addition,
the Company’s Billing and Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) activity has
grown both as a licensed offering and as a managed service. We are looking
forward to improving both our top and bottom line performance,”

Last year, Mer Telemanagement Solutions inked a renewal
agreement for its Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) and Wireless Management
Solution with a large, U.S. based MVNO.

 

MTS’s MVNO Billing Solution is a convergent billing
platform that handles the full customer care and billing lifecycle for service
providers and virtual mobile networks.
