MDCL-Frontline becomes main service delivery arm for BT in China


BT has welcomed iSoftStone, a
China-based IT services provider, as a shareholder
in
MDCL-Frontline, BT’s main delivery arm for the provision of IT infrastructure
services to its customers in China.


BT is the largest shareholder of MDCL-Frontline with a
47.5 percent holding, which remains unchanged.

With 150 engineers located in 21 cities in China, MDCL-Frontline
has established as a premier IT services provider that specializes in IT system
integration and infrastructure development, encompassing networking, servers,
data storage and data centres. Its clients include large enterprises in China’s
telecom, banking, and energy sectors.


MDCL-Frontline has become the preferred service provider
for BT in China. With this investment, iSoftStone and MDCL-Frontline hope to
leverage each other’s strengths and collaborate on strategic initiatives like
smart city, healthcare, Internet of Things, and Cloud Computing.
