Telecom Lead India: Mahindra Satyam, a global consulting
and IT services provider, has unveiled Oracle Communications Solution
Engineering Center in Kolkata, co-developed by Tech Mahindra.

Practice at Mahindra Satyam, said that the Oracle Communications Solution
Engineering Center will help the company build and deliver high value
integrated solutions to Telcos and Telecom Equipment Manufacturers leveraging
Oracle suite of products.
The new centre will cater to the telco customer’s
increasing demand for different services and will offer innovative solutions to
the telecommunications industry.
Debjit Chakraborty, assistant VP and head of Oracle
Communications Practice at Tech Mahindra said that Mahindra Satyam is
partnering with telecom operators to offer Oracle solutions to enterprise
customers of telecom operators, which would entail monetizing the data centre
and other assets of an operator to generate additional revenue and help them
sell beyond standard voice and data services.
Engineers at the newly launched center will develop newer
versions of Oracle Wimax xPress”, a pre-integrated solution with latest
components developed by Mahindra Satyam & Tech Mahindra.
The center will have solutions which provide ways to
enhance cross channel customer experience, provide Intelligent Business
Management solutions, help in Financial Modernization and generate revenue
stream enablers.
The company believes that the new center will address the
challenges in optimizing operations/costs, generating revenue through enablers
and improving customer centricity.
Mahindra Satyam offers IP iDecisions, which is built on
Oracle Business Intelligence tools that provides inclusive set of readymade and
tailored solutions enabling customer organization to evolve as leading players
in the Business Intelligence space.
The company claims that its solution helps telecom
customers to resolve their business critical problems around quality of
connections, ARPUs, predict customer churn, monitor usage, call resolution
time, and complains by channels.
