LG Electronics launches virtual computing with next-generation network monitors

LG Electronics USA announced it will
be introducing its next-generation, highly efficient and ultra-secure P Series
Network Monitors for virtualization computing.

LG’s P Series Network Monitor (model N1910LZ) uses zero client virtual computing technology to connect a
server host and simultaneously redistribute its capabilities to multiple users
through Internet Protocol (IP).

This LG solution enables IT directors to deliver mass computing capabilities to budget
conscientious environments.

“The P Series Network Monitor
solution helps reduce high costs associated with maintaining a multi-computer
setting,” said Y.K. Cho, senior vice president, Commercial Displays, LG
Electronics USA.

“Designed specifically for
enterprise, finance, healthcare and SMBs (small- and medium-size businesses),
LG’s P Series Network Monitors help to maximize budgets and transform a static
workspace into an interactive, engaging atmosphere that’s easy for integrators
to install and for end-users to employ,” Cho added.

The P Series Network Monitor system
utilizes a Teradici PCoIP (PC-over-IP) Chipset and VMWare software to deliver a
powerful and secure virtual solution that broadens integrated computing beyond
designated labs to offices and classrooms.

The zero client virtualization
software enables a single server to support more monitors than previously
possible. With enough bandwidth, one server computer can potentially support
more than 100 redistributed systems.

The 19-inch diagonal LED monitors
(18.9 inches measured diagonally) provide a bright, clear computing experience
for productivity and multimedia applications.
