Keysight InfiniiVision 1000 X-Series oscilloscopes
Test and measurement company Keysight Technologies has launched low-cost oscilloscope under the InfiniiVision 1000 X-Series in India.

Priced at INR 24,999 in India and $449 in the US, the latest oscilloscope has 50 to 100 MHz models that feature Keysight-custom technology called MegaZoom IV custom ASIC for enabling 50,000 waveforms per second update rate. The oscilloscopes deliver software analysis and 6-in-1 instrument integration.

“Keysight Technologies’ oscilloscope at affordable cost enables engineering colleges to transition from analog to digital technologies at a much faster pace. Its capabilities will help our students and educators to enhance their technical learning capabilities,” said Manoj Kumar, director – Department of Training & Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

Users can see random and infrequent glitches and anomalies by utilizing the 1000 X-Series oscilloscopes which are ideal for new users and students.

The company said 1000 X-Series also has a high sampling rate of up to 2 GSa/s and comes standard with two probes. The oscilloscopes use segmented memory capability to maximize memory depth while helping the scope test faster.

The front panel has built-in help features for new users to quickly analyze signals to deliver results. Keysight Technologies is offering a kit with built-in training signals, an oscilloscope lab guide for undergraduate students, and oscilloscope fundamentals slide for professors and lab assistants.

“When designing the 1000 X-Series, we looked for ways to aggressively reduce costs while delivering a high-quality product,” said Dave Cipriani, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s Digital Photonics Center of Excellence.

The 1000 X-Series is a serial protocol analyzer, digital voltmeter and frequency counter—and the EDUX1002G and DSOX1102G models include a frequency response analyzer and WaveGen function generator.

The 1000 X-Series features 24 typical oscilloscope measurements to quickly analyze signals and determine signal parameters. The gated FFT function provides additional signal analysis, enabling users to correlate time and frequency domain phenomenon on a single screen.

The latest oscilloscope has a mask limit testing to help users easily detect signal errors. Keysight said the 1000 X-Series supports decoding and analysis of a range of embedded and automotive serial bus applications, which include I2C, SPI, UART/RS232, CAN and LIN.
