KDDI America and TELEHOUSE America appoint new CEO and president


KDDI America, a provider of international IT and
telecommunication services, announced jointly with its sister company,
TELEHOUSE America, a provider of global dedicated data centers, the recruitment
of a new chief executive officer and president Masaaki Nakanishi.


Nakanishi will oversee all of the KDDI America and
TELEHOUSE America facilities and services and will be replacing former CEO, Yasushi
Kubota.


Nakanishi, a vice president and chief executive officer,
Global Business, for KDDI Corporation, is
positioned to take on his new appointment here in the United States. Nakanishi
will continue to establish KDDI Corporation’s global vision as a leading
provider of Telecommunications and Data Center services.

strength of KDDI Group of Companies, and focus on the U.S. market. The U.S. is
a key player in the world’s economy and we are positioned to facilitate their
IT/Telecommunications and data center requirements,” said Masaaki
Nakanishi.


Nakanishi’s broad experience in global
telecommunications, his understanding of the global market and the contacts he
has built up over many years while leading KDDI’s global services will be a
huge benefit to KDDI America’s customers and partners.

Asia-Pacific.
