JDSU opens IT development center in Pune

Telecom Lead Asia: Test and measurement solutions provider JDSU has opened its IT development center at Pune, India.

The new IT center will offer technology support for IT applications, projects and program implementations within JDSU. It will support JDSU’s focus on providing more software-based solutions to its customers.

“Pune is a city that is emerging as a strategic area of technology thought leadership with a growing base of talent,” said Chris Bedi, chief information officer at JDSU. “The new center allows us to add infrastructure and support services that complement our growing footprint and roadmap for IT applications.”

The new IT center also provides a foundation to grow JDSU’s strategic capabilities in software, enabling the T&M solutions provider to jumpstart innovation and develop technologies to move the needle, internally within JDSU and for customers.

JDSU has a presence in Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon and now in Pune.
