JDSU inks LTE Customer Experience Assurance deal with SoftBank

Wireless testing vendor JDSU announced its LTE Customer Experience Assurance deal with Japanese telecom service provider SoftBank Mobile.

JDSU said its xSIGHT Customer Experience Assurance solutions, which identify, prioritize and resolve customer impacting issues, will assist SoftBank to optimize the scale and quality of experience (QoE) of its LTE  services.

During the extensive trial and evaluation process, xSIGHT demonstrated the highest performance with the lowest footprint, and delivered a unique advantage in terms of solution cost, speed and efficiency.

JDSU’s xSIGHT will enable SoftBank Mobile to scale its assurance solution to address the substantial increase in traffic volumes and rates driven by new LTE services. The solution also helps the mobile service provider to deliver a differentiated customer experience and premium service offerings, said JDSU.
