Glu Mobile achieves 10 billion Android app downloads

Glu Mobile, a global developer and publisher of Social
Mobile games for smartphone and tablet devices, announced that its top paid Glu
games has been selected by Google to participate in Android Market’s 10 Billion
App Downloads Promotion.

milestone of reaching ten billion apps downloaded on Android. With over 30 Glu
games available on Android Market, we are well aware of the growing audience of
Android users and we are happy to fulfill their appetite for high-quality
Social Mobile games. We will continue to work with Google in creating excellent
gaming experiences for Android users,” said Niccolo de Masi, CEO of

.

 

As part of the celebration of ten billion apps downloaded
from the Android Market Google will discount ten apps per day for ten
cents for ten days.

 

Glu’s Deer Hunter 3D and Super KO Boxing 2 games
have been selected by Google. These two top paid mobile games are available
for ten cents as part of the promotion. Deer Hunter 3D, regularly
priced at $4.99, will be available for just 10 cents on Thursday, December 8.
Super KO Boxing 2 will available on Sunday, December 11 for 10 cents.

 

Glu Mobile recently announced that Bug Village will be
available
on
Windows Phone 7.
