EXFO updates FTB/IQS-85100G Packet Blazer Series

EXFO has expanded its FTB/IQS-85100G Packet Blazer Series, offering multi-stage ODU multiplexing as well as SONET/SDH client mappings over OTU4.

EXFO enhanced its 40G/100G lab testing capabilities on the FTB/IQS-85100G by adding multistage multiplexing schemes up to OTU4 for the network equipment manufacturers (NEMS) when testing inter-carrier handoff in between the network element muxponder cards.

In addition, the FTB/IQS-85100G delivers SONET/SDH client mapping into OTN containers, allowing faster validation of the lower speed Ethernet-based client interface.

EXFO also said the FTB/IQS-88100NGE, the 10M to 100G test module, will come with Fibre Channel test capabilities from 1X to 10X. The company also revealed that Fibre Channel 16X is now available on the recently introduced FTB/IQS-8830NGE module.
