Ericsson signs OSS deal with Orange Polska

Telecom network vendor Ericsson announced its six-year OSS deal with Orange Polska to carry out the transformation and optimization of processes and information systems.

Orange Polska will benefit from Ericsson consulting and systems integration capabilities, as well as an operations support system (OSS) software suite, which provides tools for network planning, inventory, fulfillment and assurance domain.

Ericsson OSS will enable Orange to process operational data more quickly and reliably, as well as enabling the cost-efficient development of new tools. A range of systems integration and consulting services are included in the deal.

“The OSS transformation gives Orange Polska the agility to optimize their operations and ensure improved end-user satisfaction. For us it is a next step in OSS/BSS transformation in Central Europe,” said Valter D’Avino, head of Ericsson Region Western & Central Europe.

The company claims that nearly 2.1 billion subscriptions are served by Ericsson OSS/BSS solutions, and more than 900 Ericsson OSS solutions are in use.
