Electro Rent Europe sets up European headquarters in Belgium

Telecom Lead Africa: Electro Rent Europe has set up its
European headquarters in Belgium.

Electro Rent will increase its inventory of equipment
from suppliers including Agilent Technologies, Tektronix, JDSU and EXFO.

The new center will address the needs of high technology
businesses in the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

These regions are experiencing high growth in
applications such as telecommunications, energy and the extraction of natural
resources.

Electro Rent can provide access to the test equipment
required to meet all of these needs and others through its large inventory of
test equipment available for rental, lease or purchase. By offering rental
and leasing services to the MEA regions, Electro Rent can help businesses gain
access to the equipment they need while reducing the demands on their capital
equipment budgets.

The company will employ additional staff at the Belgium
headquarters to service the needs of the MEA regions.

David Saeys, general manager for Electro Rent Europe,
said Electro Rent’s aim always is to respond to the needs of its customers,
both existing and new. The company aims to become the MEA’s leading
supplier of test and measurement equipment on a rental, lease or purchase
basis.

Electro Rent opened its European operations in 2005 with
an ambitious expansion plan. The move to support the MEA is part of that
plan.  With this initiative Electro Rent will expand its global presence
even more to include Europe, the MEA, North America and Asia.
