Dimension Data becomes systems integrator partner for Citrix

Dimension Data, the $4.7 billion global ICT services and
solutions provider, announced that it has become a global systems integrator
partner for Citrix.

The program places Dimension Data at the highest partner
level in the 49 countries on five continents that it has a direct presence.

Formalizing Dimension Data’s status as a Global Systems
Integrator Partner builds upon existing regional relationships and makes
Dimension Data one of a handful of the most strategic Citrix partners.

With over 200 clients and 150 Citrix-certified
consultants holding more than 700 Citrix certifications, Dimension Data and
Citrix have a long history of success.

Citrix virtual computing technology empowers users to
work from any location, at any time from any device while creating a flexible
and secure client computing infrastructure. Our clients are asking for these
capabilities in order to transform their desktops and grow their businesses,”
said Curt Wheadon, vice president of Microsoft Solutions,
Dimension Data.

Expanding our Citrix relationship enables us to deliver
these abilities in either a traditional on-premise or hosted environment, based
on our clients’ preferences,” Wheadon added.

Dimension Data’s expertise, global footprint and
international client base adds tremendous value to taking the Citrix
virtualization, networking and cloud computing offerings to market as part of
our total portfolio of services and technology solutions. The Group’s
consultants are experts in network optimization, data center operations,
virtualization and security – all of which are vital elements for a
well-designed Citrix environment,” said Dave Jones, vice president, System
Integrator Development, Citrix Systems.

The partnership will focus on extending Dimension Data’s
award-winning Next Generation Desktop Solution with market-leading Citrix
XenDesktop, to support and manage consumer devices such as iPads, iPhones,
tablets, smartphones and other mobile devices within the enterprise.
