Telecom Lead India: Dax Networks, a provider of
networking products has introduced a new 3G enabled wireless broadband router
for SMBs called DX-924U-ARO, which is priced at Rs. 8,370.
The router has a maximum bandwidth of 150 mbps and
comes with the latest IEEE 802.11n draft 2.0 wireless standards with
support for external HSxPA, EVDO, TD-WCDMA and 3G modem through the USB port.
The router also supports additional 10/100 WAN (Wide Area
Network) ports. Integrate with Network Address Advisor (NAT), the router
enables the user to use single IP for accessing Internet.
DX-924U-ARO supports various routing protocols like
Static IP, Dynamic IP, PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol), L2TP (Layer 2
Tunneling Protocol), PPPoE (Point-to-point protocol over Ethernet) and 3G.
Dax claims that support for L2TP VPN helps to create tunnel to the
central location.
The router offers security features like Firewall and DOS
and supports security technologies like WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy),
Pre Shared Key WPA/ WPA2, and MAC (Media Access Control) filtering.
DX-924U-ARO offers WPS (Web Processing Service) button
that helps users activate the security features.
DX-924U-ARO also supports web based GUI (Graphical
User Interface) for configuration and firmware upgrades.
The router comes with a 3-year carry-in
warranty and online support for customers.
The company will market this new router via its network
of Authorized Dax Solution Providers (ADSPs) and system integrators.
Dax Networks unveils DX-372DVP-A for multi-location video

Recently, Dax Networks launched DX-372DVP-A, an IP
camera for multi-location surveillance.
Priced at Rs 61,880, this 2 megapixel camera
delivers HD quality video images and is suited for surveillance within the
campus or premises.
