BT Capex remains flat at £595 million in second quarter

BT Group Capex (capital spending) touched £595 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2014.

There was no increase in BT Capex as compared with the second quarter of previous fiscal.

BT total revenue rose marginally by 0.5 percent to £4,491 million and profit before tax increased 2 percent to £609 million in Q2.

BT Global revenue in Q2 dipped 4 percent £1,694 million.

BT Retail revenue increased 2 percent to £1,843 million.

BT Wholesale shot up 1 percent to £624 million.

BT Openreach business generated £1,271 million, showing 1 percent drop in revenue.
