APAC Customer Services, a provider of global outsourced
services and solutions, has opened a new contact center in Montevideo, Uruguay.
The site is located in Aguada Park, an international
center for global services situated in the free zone area of Montevideo. APAC
will occupy three floors of the newly constructed building with initial
capacity for 630 customer service associate workstations. The first calls
started June 13.
This latest APAC location is expected
to generate at least 300 new jobs in Montevideo in 2011 with additional
employment opportunities going forward.
The available APAC jobs in Montevideo will include a
variety of management, customer care, technical support, sales, and back office
positions. The new contact center will offer business-to-business and business-to-consumer solutions that
maximize the customer experience and improve overall performance for its client
base.
The development of the Montevideo site is an important
