Anite to provide network testing solution to Uzmobile

Anite

Anite, a provider of wireless network testing technology, announced it has been selected by Uzmobile Telecom, an operator working in CDMA450/EV-DO/GSM/WCDMA/LTE-A technologies in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Uzmobile has selected a broad range of testing and benchmarking solutions from Anite, including Nemo Outdoor, Nemo Invex II, Nemo FSR1, Nemo Analyze, and Nemo Commander. They have been selected due to their versatility and broad technology support, the company said.

Remote control and management of these tools with Nemo Commander bring direct process improvements and efficiency gains, streamlining OPEX. Based on Nemo tools, Uzmobile plans to build a mobile laboratory that will enable them to evaluate radio coverage and the quality of different services (HD Voice, HD Video, Data, Social Media, Streaming video, and other VAS).

The Russian service company DMTel, authorized distributor of Anite products in Russia, CIS, Ukraine and Georgia, will help Uzmobile to build the mobile laboratories that cover all Uzmobile needs related to radio measurements on their network.

Nemo Invex II is a mobile benchmarking, measurement, and optimization system which will be used by Uzmobile to compare the performance of voice and data services and radio coverage between the different Uzbekistan mobile networks.

Nemo Outdoor is a laptop-based drive test tool for wireless network testing supporting over 300 terminals and scanning receivers from various vendors and all major network technologies, including the latest technologies, such as 3 carrier aggregation, LTE Cat 11 devices, VoLTE/ ViLTE, VoWiFi/ViWiFi, and eMBMS testing.

By using the Nemo Walker backpack solution for Nemo Outdoor, Uzmobile plans to evaluate both indoor and outdoor network coverage and QoS as well.

Nemo Commander is a platform for centrally controlled network testing. It allows a single user to remotely operate Nemo Outdoor, Nemo Invex II, Nemo Handy, and Nemo Explorer-1 /Explorer-4 test units in the field, tracking their location and status, and controlling all measurement units remotely.

Nemo FSR1 is a modular digital RF scanning receiver that provides accurate, reliable high-speed RF measurements of wireless networks across multiple bands and technologies.

Nemo Analyze is for benchmarking, automated troubleshooting, and statistical reporting based on drive test data. For benchmarking, Nemo Analyze’s predetermined report templates help compare KPIs from different operators, technologies, and time frames, and visualize the results in a single report. Nemo Analyze supports all the major network technologies, including LTE, HSPA+, and CDMA2000.
