Telecom Lead Team:
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has extended its
distribution agreement with FVC to include Saudi Arabia.

The
expanded agreement gives FVC distribution rights in Saudi Arabia for
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s of enterprise solutions including Unified Communications
(UC), telephony and data.

FVC
will work with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise to provide increased levels of service
to its customers, help build a high-level of customer satisfaction and shorten
lead time for deliveries. FVC is responsible for developing and expanding
Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise’s channel base in the Kingdom to better serve the
needs of businesses in the kingdom.

The
agreement will offer greater support to the company’s network of indirect
resellers, enabling, empowering and enhancing their sales and technology
capabilities and skills. Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise hopes that the new agreement
will extend its reach within the key vertical sectors including banking,
healthcare, hospitality, education and infrastructure, according to Sam Lutfallah,
Alcatel-Lucent
Enterprise’s Regional Sales Director for Saudi Arabia & Bahrain.

“We are
very pleased to be able to now offer Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise solutions to our
partners and customers in Saudi Arabia. As demand for voice and data
communications increase in the region, Alcatel-Lucent’s complementary solutions
fill a gap in our small, medium and enterprise (SME) business offering of
end-to-end UC solutions,” said Yakob Kafina, GM for Saudi Arabia at FVC.
