Agilent names Jay Alexander as CTO of Keysight Technologies

Agilent Technologies has named Jay Alexander as the chief technology officer (CTO) of Keysight Technologies which will be functional as a separate company in August 2014 after the spinning of Agilent’s Electronic Measurement Group.

The test and measurement vendor Agilent announced in September 2013 that it would separate into two publicly traded companies in 2014.

Alexander will lead Keysight’s technology development, drive its product roadmap, and manage the company’s resource allocation across divisions to transform Keysight’s portfolio to proactively meet customers’ needs.

Alexander has held numerous leadership positions within Agilent’s Electronic Measurement Group, including his most recent role as vice president and general manager for the Oscilloscope and Protocol Division.
