Vodafone deploys 108 telecom towers for 3G network in Imphal

Telecom network operator Vodafone India has made investment in deploying 108 new 3G towers to set up its own network at Imphal in Manipur.

Alok Verma, business head – Assam & North East, Vodafone India said: “With this launch our mobile users across Imphal will now avail of faster and better speeds and superior data browsing experience at the existing 3G tariffs.”

Vodafone India has more than 4.8 million customers in Assam & North East Circle with 40 percent being data users.
