Riverbed to showcase IT performance solutions at InterOp Mumbai 2011

 

Riverbed Technology announced its participation at Interop Mumbai 2011
taking place September 28-30 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India.

 

InterOp is the
leading business technology event series that offers in-depth educational
programs, workshops, real-world demonstrations and live technology
implementations.

 

The three-day event
will focus on cloud computing, virtualization, security, mobility, data center
and networking.

 

At the conference,
Riverbed will showcase its IT performance solutions leveraged by
globally-connected enterprises to consolidate IT infrastructure and reduce
costs while increasing employee collaboration and productivity.  In
addition, Riverbed spokesperson, Naveen Prabhu, will present on improving
application performance and collaboration while reducing costs.

 

Riverbed will also
showcase Riverbed Steelhead appliances, Steelhead Mobile, Riverbed Cascade and
the Riverbed application delivery controller (ADC), which delivers
high-performance software-based load balancing and traffic management solutions
for virtual and cloud environments.

 

Riverbed recently announced
that it is number one in Asia Pacific market share ranking for 2010 based on
revenue.

 

“Riverbed remained the dominant player in the APAC
WAN optimization market in 2010, extending its market share lead in the WAN
acceleration category significantly over the other market players,” said
Cathy Huang, industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan.
