Telecommunications is transformational. It connects communities,
improves business efficiency and provides opportunities to trade, and it gives
individuals access to healthcare, education and entertainment. A progressive
national ICT policy is fundamental to creating the environment for economic
transformation, especially in the emerging markets of Africa and Asia, an
aspect that will be highlighted by H.E Mohammad Omran during his presentation
at the high-profile event,” Ahmed bin Ali said.
We are
excited to organize the first international TEDx in Libya and we are looking
forward to the presentation of Chairman Omran. Our event will bring her to get
some of the world’s most innovative thinkers, decision makers as well as the
leading minds from within Libya to help inspire and create discussions from
which new ideas may emerge to benefit the entire community,” said Ousama
Abushagur, co-organiser and co-founder of TEDx Tripoli.
