Viasat’s Mark Dankberg to resume chairman & CEO roles

Viasat announced that Mark Dankberg, the co-founder and executive chairman, will resume the roles of chairman and CEO.
Viasat booth at a trade eventViasat’s President and CEO Rick Baldridge will assume the position of vice chairman. Rick Baldridge will focus on the steps to closing the Inmarsat acquisition. He will also manage  the integration planning and execution strategy to position the combined companies to achieve the financial and operational objectives.

Viasat’s Chief Operating Officer Kevin Harkenrider will assist Mark Dankberg in overseeing Viasat’s day-to-day operations.

Since co-founding Viasat in 1986, Mark Dankberg has led Viasat’s growth, technology strategy and commercial operations, and served as chairman and CEO from inception through 2020.
