Singtel bags broadcast rights to Barclays Premier League

Telecom network operator Singapore Telecommunications (Singtel) has bagged the broadcast rights to Barclays Premier League football matches for the next three seasons commencing August 2016.

“Singtel TV fans can be assured that their football experience stays uninterrupted at rates that remain affordable,” said Yuen Kuan Moon, chief executive officer, Consumer Singapore, Singtel.

Singtel has been bringing the Premier League to Singaporeans since the start of the 2010/2011 season.

Singtel TV offers football content such as UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, FA Cup, Capital One Cup, Italian Serie A and more – on Singtel TV and the Singtel TV Go app.

The Singtel Group has more than 575 million mobile customers in 25 countries in Asia, Australia and Africa.
