Airtel Digital TV, a Direct-To-Home (DTH) service, has announced its self care application for television sets.
My Airtel mobile app will enable DTH customers with an Airtel Digital TV HD set-top-box to access their Airtel Digital TV account details real-time on their television sets without reaching out to the customer support center.
Users can access the app by connecting the set-top-box to an internet connection via a LAN cable or with the help of Airtel Infinity, a Wi-Fi dongle, said Bharti Airtel.
Customers can utilize the recently launched Wi-Fi dongle to connect their HD/HD+ and HD DVR set-top-boxes to the internet using any existing Wi-Fi connection without need of any additional wiring for enabling the broadband/LAN access on their set-top-box.
