Liberty Global taps Benu Networks for Wi-Fi service

Benu Networks, a provider of Wi-Fi and vCPE for network operators, today announced Liberty Global has purchased the Benu Virtual Service Edge (VSE) to support its Community Wi-Fi service, and Static IP vCPE solution for its business customers.

Andy Grotzke, VP of Connectivity Architecture, Liberty Global, said: “We selected Benu because of the platform’s architecture and ability to scale. This is part of our strategy to improve the velocity with which we can introduce new and innovative connectivity and vCPE networking services.”

Dino Di Palma, CEO of Benu Networks, said: “Our VSE platform allows Liberty to be more nimble and innovative to stay competitive in the growing marketplace.”
