Huawei inks deal with Telefonica to work 4G / 5G, 400G, FTTX, SDN for connected homes

Huawei has inked an agreement with Telefonica to work on networks including 4G / 5G networks, 400G, FTTX, SDN IP / optical networks for connected homes.

They will analyze the development and joint roll-out of these networks, as well as new business models and services.

The strategy of Telefonica is to develop and adapt IT solutions to improve its business processes and improve its customers’ experience.

In addition, the two companies will work together on the research of solutions focused on efficient use of both fix and mobile networks and data services.

The two companies will collaborate on the search for joint solutions for IaaS, SaaS and PaaS.
