Alcatel-Lucent integrates 170 LTE specialized engineers to Altran

Alcatel-Lucent will integrate its 170 LTE 4G specialized engineers to telecoms and media teams of Altran, an engineering consulting firm with €1,456 million revenues.

The deal is part of Alcatel-Lucent’s decision to downsize its manpower in France.

Announcing the partnership project with Altran to create an expertise and telecoms services center in the area of Nantes, Alcatel-Lucent said the association will create a privileged working relationship between the two engineering teams.

“Thanks to its wide international spread and presence in many sectors of activity, Altran will, among other things, give our teams access to new growth opportunities in the telecoms industry and, even more so, in the Intelligent Systems sector,” said Loic le Grouiec, country operations manager of Alcatel-Lucent.
