Swisscom to deploy Ericsson security manager solution

Ericsson has won a technology deal from Swisscom, a telecom service provider in Switzerland, for the deployment of its Ericsson Security Manager solution.
Swisscom and 5GEricsson Security Manager will provide increased security automation, visibility and control for Swisscom Security Operation Center to address the security management needs of the service provider. The new deal includes automation of security compliance management and basic security analytics.

Philippe Vuilleumier, head of Group Security, Swisscom, said: “We are deploying Ericsson Security Manager in our datacenter in Switzerland while simultaneously developing the solution further through progressive and agile collaboration.”

Swisscom aims to improve the security baseline automation and security analytics in its Security Operations Center and protect critical infrastructure with the deployment of the Ericsson Security Manager.

Asa Tamsons, head of Business Area Technologies & New Businesses, Ericsson, said the Ericsson Security Manager will transform the security management of Swisscom’s mobile network.
