TRAI announced the result from independent drive tests conducted in six cities of Gwalior, Hisar, Kohima, Ludhiana, Meerut and Shillong.
Gwalior City
Most of the TSPs have met the 2 percent of drop call rate except BSNL 3G and Tata CDMA. All TSPs have met CSSR. Airtel 3G networks and Airtel 4G networks achieved maximum throughput in Gwalior City.
Hissar City
All TSPs have met the 2 percent of drop call rate. Most TSPs have met CSSR except Tata 2G and 3G. Tata in 3G networks and Airtel in 4G networks achieved maximum throughput in Hissar City.
Kohima City
Only Airtel 2G and Reliance Jio have met the 2 percent drop call rate. Most TSPs have met CSSR except BSNL 2G and 3G and Airtel 3G. BSNL in 3G networks and Reliance Jio in 4G networks achieved the maximum throughput in Kohima City.
Ludhiana City
Most of the TSPs have met the 2 percent of drop call rate except BSNL 3G. All TSPs have met CSSR. BSNL in 3G networks and Reliance Jio in 4G networks achieved the maximum throughput in Ludhiana City.
Meerut City
Most of the TSPs have met the 2 percent of drop call rate except BSNL 3G. Most TSPs have met CSSR except BSNL 2G and 3G networks. BSNL in 3G networks and Reliance Jio in 4G networks achieved the maximum throughput in Meerut City.
Shillong City
Only Airtel 2G, Idea Cellular’s 2G and 3G networks and Reliance Jio have met the 2 percent of drop call rate. Most TSPs have met CSSR except BSNL 3G. BSNL in 3G networks and Airtel in 4G networks have achieved the maximum throughput in Shillong City, according to TRAI.
