GSMA said the Asia Mobile Awards recognized innovative mobile technologies, products and services, the impact of mobile on individuals, business and society across the Asia Pacific region.

Huawei has bagged several awards. Telecom equipment makers such as Nokia and ZTE did not receive any award. Indian telecom operators such as BSNL, Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Vodafone and Reliance Jio also did not win any award.
