Indian telecom regulator TRAI in its latest drive test report said that Airtel has topped the 4G download speed test in the Delhi NCR region.
Airtel 4G has offered 8.9Mbps download speed on its 4G network as compared with 7.3Mbps from Reliance Jio and 4.9Mbps from Vodafone India.
The report said MTNL is leading the 3G space. MTNL 3G offered 3.7Mbps download speed on its 3G network against 3.3Mbps from Airtel, 2.3Mbps from Vodafone, 2Mbps from Idea Cellular.
The report said most of the TSPs have met the 2 percent Drop Call Rate of QoS benchmark (DCR percent) except Aircel and MTNL. Most of the TSPs have met the 95 percent Call Set up success rate of QoS benchmark (DCR percent) except Aircel and MTNL.
TRAI has conducted drive tests in Delhi license service area including Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram and Faridabad from 20 February to 16 March 2018 covering a drive test route of 2300 kms and data tests on 23 hotspots.
