Global Telesat posts significant increase in mobile satellite solutions sales in Q1 2012

Telecom Lead America: World Surveillance Group, a
developer of lighter-than-air unmanned aerial vehicles, announced its
subsidiary, Global Telesat Corp., has posted significant increase in sales of
mobile satellite solutions (MSS) in Q1 2012.

The significant increase in sales is due in part to the
recent launch of its e-commerce MSS website. GTC’s sales during the first
quarter of 2012 reflect the best quarterly sales period GTC has had since its
acquisition by WSGI.

In Q1 2012, GTC provided MSS that addressed customer
needs around the globe, including the supply of specialized satellite tracking
devices and messaging services for use in Afghanistan, satellite phones for
essential communication needs during the uprisings in the Middle East, and
satellite broadband airtime to enable wounded servicemen to send blogs,
photographs and emails during a two month charitable fundraising trek to the
base camp at Mt. Everest.

GTC has received and is working to address inquiries from
defense and defense-related companies seeking samples, demonstrations and
technical information on GTC’s proprietary tracking devices, mapping software
and satellite ground station capabilities.

These new orders secured by GTC follow the recently
implemented strategy to diversify GTC’s satellite business operations to
address the multi-billion dollar global MSS market. GTC will continue to
address this market by increasing products and solutions for customers to
purchase online through its e-commerce website. It will establish additional
reseller agreements, and market its full product suite of customized tracking
devices, satellite communications equipment and other MSS products.

“One of our goals was to start the year strong by
executing on opportunities available to each of our businesses. We are
currently receiving positive feedback from government and commercial customers
interested in both GTC’s products and our line of airships. We intend to build
on the momentum we have generated in the first quarter to close more business
and strengthen our company during the rest of the year,” said WSGI
President and CEO Glenn D. Estrella.
