Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel today said its 4G service offers 135 Mbps Internet speed in Durgapur.
Airtel has made investment in 4G Advanced network in Durgapur using dual spectrum bands of 2300 MHz and 1800 MHz.
In Bengal, Airtel’s 4G service has gone live in Alipurduar, Raiganj, Kharagpur, Purulia, Berhampore, Haldia, Medinipur, Malda, Balurghat, Jalpaiguri and Siliguri.
“We are delighted to launch 4G services in Durgapur using the latest Carrier Aggregation technology,” said Vir Inder Nath, CEO – West Bengal & Odisha, Bharti Airtel.
Airtel offers 10 GB of 4G or 3G data for Rs 255 to prepaid customers with any new 4G handset.
Airtel’s Infinity plans offer 2 GB of 4G or 3G data with unlimited voice calls for STD, local and roaming for 4G handset users for Rs 799.
Airtel’s 4G prepaid pack costs Rs 1,495 offering 4G or 3G data for 90 days.
Airtel’s 4G prepaid plan priced at Rs 1,498 offers 10GB 4G or 3G data upfront and 1 GB of 4G or 3G data for Rs 57 in the next 12 months.
The Rs 148 pack from Airtel offers 300 MB 4G data along with local and STD Airtel-to-Airtel calls for 28 days. The Rs 345 pack from Airtel offers 1GB of 4G data along with local and STD calls to any network in India for 28 days.
