Indian telecom operator Bharti Airtel has expanded its 4G coverage in Gujarat by introducing the mobile Internet service in Rajkot and Bhavnagar.
Airtel 4G – on the 1800 MHz (FD LTE) spectrum band — is already available in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Anand.
Airtel 4G is currently available across 22 telecom circles in India.
“Our valued customers can now upgrade to 4G at no additional cost with our value for money plans for pre-paid & post-paid categories, and enjoy great data benefits. We invite customers to get on to the digital superhighway with Airtel 4G,” said Murthy Chaganti, chief executive officer, Gujarat, Bharti Airtel.
Bharti Airtel is now offering 10 GB of 4G data for Rs 249 with any new 4G handset – to its prepaid customers.
The Rs 249 recharge enables prepaid mobile customers to get 1 GB data instantly, while they can claim additional 9 GB data through My Airtel app. Mobile phone users can avail a maximum of 3 recharges within 90 days, on the offer.
Airtel said its new MyAirtel App will offer the best of music, movies games, LIVE TV, e-books, chats and much more in one place. Users can also enjoy free 2GB cloud backup with the new Airtel Cloud app and free calling with Airtel Dialer.
Under the postpaid plan called Airtel Infinity for Rs 1,199, the telecom operator is offering 4G data with unlimited voice calls for STD, local and roaming.
The cost of Airtel’s special 4G Prepaid pack is Rs 1,495 offering free 4G data for 90 days.
Airtel’s 4G prepaid pack for Rs 1,499 offers 6GB 4G data upfront and customers can get 1GB 4G at Rs 51 for the next 12 months.
Airtel said monthly plans for 4G devices start from Rs 450 and customer can also avail the advance rental plans starting from Rs 4,500 to avail new device free of cost.
