Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel has expanded its 4G services – on the 1800 MHz spectrum band — in Gwalior and Ashoknagar in Madhya Pradesh.
Airtel 4G coverage is already available in Bhopal, Raisen and Vidisha. Airtel 4G is available in 18 states in India.
Bharti Airtel has made investment in 10 MHz of 1800 Mhz spectrum band to roll out 4G services in Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh in order to enhance mobile user experience of Airtel customers in the state.
“The launch of our 4G services in Gwalior & Ashok Nagar is yet another milestone for Airtel in Madhya Pradesh. The steady rollout of 4G network in the region underlines our focus towards offering a superior data experience to our customers,” said Dharmender Khajuria, chief executive 0fficer, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Bharti Airtel.
Airtel 4G data plans
Airtel also announced a new 4G offer for prepaid customers who can enjoy 10 GB 4G data for Rs 249 with any new 4G handset. For Rs 249 recharge, 1 GB data will be instantly credited to the customer’s account and the additional 9 GB data can be claimed by the customer through My Airtel app. 4G users can avail a maximum of 3 recharges within 90 days, on the offer.
Airtel’s postpaid customers on 4G network can buy 4G services for Rs 1,199 benefitting from 4G data with unlimited voice calls for STD, local and roaming.
Airtel’s prepaid users have a new package for Rs 1,495 gaining from free 4G data for 90 days.
The price of Airtel 4G prepaid is Rs 1498 offering 6GB 4G data upfront and customers can get 1GB 4G at Rs 54 for the next 12 months.
Airtel says its monthly plans for 4G devices start from Rs 450. There are rental plans starting from Rs 4,500 to avail their new device free of cost.
Airtel recently also launched the new version of its MyAirtel App. The new app will offer the best of music, movies games, LIVE TV, e-books, chats and much more in one place. Users can also enjoy free 2GB cloud backup with the new Airtel Cloud app and free calling with Airtel Dialer.
