Samsung SDS and Tieto, an
IT service company in Northern Europe have entered into a partnership to
jointly provide integrated enterprise mobility services.

The partnership speeds up development of enterprise
managed mobile applications as well as their distribution for multiple devices.

“We are pleased to partner with Tieto in providing a
tightly integrated, joint enterprise mobility offering to customers in Europe.
Samsung SDS’ advanced technology and best practices for enterprise mobility,
coupled with Tieto’s robust delivery capability and industry expertise, offer a
compelling value proposition to customers,” said Sean Kae, executive VP,
smart convergence division at Samsung SDS.

Established in 1985, Samsung SDS provides the Secure
Enterprise Mobility Platform (SEMP) which enables efficient backend enterprise
services mobilization.

Furthermore, the joint offering will enable customers to
get consistent security management, a platform to develop and deploy new apps
as well as seamless integration to disparate back-end systems.

Through this collaboration, Tieto and Samsung SDS plan to
establish a one-stop shop for enterprise mobility services.

“Through the SEMP platform, we can rapidly develop
and manage a comprehensive IT service offering for our customers who want to
leverage critical back-end data to deliver innovative services via multiple
connected devices,” said Ari Vanhanen, executive VP, product engineering
