Bharti Airtel 4G goes live in Kharagpur

Telecom network operator Bharti Airtel today said its 4G service is available in Kharagpur, a town in Bengal.

With the investment in 4G network, Kharagpur becomes the second town in the state of Bengal to have 4G services from Airtel, the first telecom operator to launch 4G services commercially in India.

Bharti Airtel, the largest telecom operator in India, is offering 4G services in Kharagpur on dual spectrum bands of 2300 MHz (TD LTE) and 1800 MHz (FD LTE) for ensuring better mobile broadband experience to its 4G users in the town.

To enhance the demand for 4G services, Airtel is offering 4G at 3G prices.

Airtel 4G is available to customers across a range of smart devices including mobile phones, 4G hotspots and dongles.
