Samsung India appoints Rahul Saighal as new CMO

Samsung India has announced the appointment of Rahul Saighal as its new
chief marketing officer.

 

Saigal will replace
Elkana Ezekiel, who is said to be joining Ahmedabad-based Zydus Wellness as
managing director.

 

Prior to this, Saighal
was working with telecom service provider Aircel at the same position. Saighal
worked with Unilever for almost two-and-a-half years, starting August
2005, as regional brand director in Thailand.

Ezekiel joined Samsung in January 2011. Prior to Samsung, he was
with Johnson & Johnson as regional franchise director for Asia
Pacific and worked there for five years. 

 

Last month, Samsung appointed BD Park as the president and CEO of Samsung South West Asia
Operations and managing director, Samsung India Electronics.

 

Park is overseeing the
operations of Samsung India Electronics (SIEL); Samsung India Software
Operations (SISO), Samsung’s R & D Centre at Bangalore; Samsung India
Software Center (SISC) and SEL India, Samsung’s R&D Centers at Noida as
well as the company’s operations in the SAARC Region.
