ETL at Convergence India 2016ETL Systems, a manufacturer of RF equipment for satellite communications, is showcasing its new technologies in RF distribution at Convergence India 2016, January 20-22 in New Delhi.

ETL has recently bagged contracts in the region, including a partnership with Grant Investrade, a part of the Hinduja Group, a HITS player. Their facility in Noida, India, uses ETL’s  L-band Enigma switch matrix for RF distribution and switching.

An Indian defense lab has also selected ETL’s Enigma matrix for broadband frequency switching.

One of the DTH service providers have also selected ETL for developing custom made Ku-band passive splitter/combiner component units.

Andrew Bond, sales director at ETL Systems, said: “We have designed new functionality and increased benefits into a series of advanced RF products and are excited for partners and potential customers in the region to see them.”

ETL’s switch matrices provide broadcasters with flexibility and efficiency in the allocation of antenna feeds to receivers, helping them to keep track of global broadcasts and to receive feeds from their reporters at live events.

ETL claims that its 26 L-band matrices is more than double that of nearest competitor. 70 percent of ETL’s largest orders in 2015 were specifically engineered to meet customer requirements. ETL is also showcasing StingRay RF over Fibre, Dextra splitters and combiners and Alto variable gain line amplifiers.
