GLDS selected by telecoms for billing system

Great Lakes Data Systems (GLDS) said telecoms such as Digicel Group, Gwaii Communications, Bestview and Afcom have selected its WinCable subscriber management and billing system in the last 6 months.

GLDS currently offers customer management and billing systems to the small to medium-sized broadband service providers.

Digicel Group has launched telecom services in Nevis, Monserrat, Anguilla, and Dominica; Gwaii Communications is operating in Masset, BC Canada; Bestview is in Atlanta, GA; Afcom who has launched in Sierra Leone; and another significant unnamed Caribbean operator.

“We’ve engaged GLDS in markets where we needed lighter, more nimble solutions,” said Orville Levy, group billing manager of Digicel. “They’ve delivered systems for four markets within the last year and we’ve been impressed with the results.”

“While dozens of operators select GLDS each year, the continued wave of operators moving to GLDS is noteworthy and validates the growing demand for easy-to-use, field proven broadband customer management solutions,” said GLDS president and COO Garrick Russell.
