GrameenPhone taps Anite to improve QoS

Anite announced its wireless testing deal with Bangladesh telecom operator GrameenPhone.

GrameenPhone, the largest mobile telecommunications operator in Bangladesh and part of the Telenor group, has selected Anite’s Nemo Xynergy, Nemo Invex II and Nemo Walker Air for collection and analysis of wireless voice quality and broadband network data.

GrameenPhone will use Nemo Invex II and Nemo Walker Air to benchmark wireless broadband networks, both outdoors and indoors, and the Nemo Xynergy Drive Test module for automated processing and the centralized online management of collected data.

Siddharth Dash, sales director at Anite’s Network Testing Business, said: “With this suite of products GrameenPhone will be able to efficiently measure the quality of end-user experience, effectively analyze the results, automate data processing and make it instantly available online.”

Nemo Xynergy is a web-based enterprise level platform for analyzing drive test, OSS call trace, small cell/DAS, and network management data. Nemo Xynergy consists of four separate modules: Drive Test, Small Cells, Network Management, and CEM.
