InFocus sells more than 1 lakh smartphones in India

The US-based smartphone maker InFocus has sold more than one lakh smartphones in India since it was launched on March 10, 2015, a company release said.

“Within just three months of the launch, it was proved that Indian customers value quality above everything else,” Sachin Thapar, InFocus India head, said.

InFocus launched the M2 and M330 exclusively via Snapdeal in March, targeting youth and digital natives. The release claimed that a consumer survey conducted by the manufacturer showed that 65 percent of InFocus customers are in the age bracket of 18-25 years.

“Despite being the new kid on the block, InFocus has received such a tremendous response only because the product it is offering in the market supercedes all competition in terms of build, design, functionality, specifications and price. We will continue to leverage the value offered by the Snapdeal platform in terms of reach and valuable consumer insights in the future as well,” he added.
