Vodafone India has appointed Naveen Chopra as its new chief operating officer (COO).

Naveen Chopra, currently director – Vodafone Business Services (VBS), will succeed Sunil Sood who will be the new CEO replacing Marten Pieters.
Vodafone India said it would announce a new head for its business division.
The appointment of Naveen as COO of Vodafone India will be effective from April 1, 2015.
The company said its enterprise business achieved significant growth under the leadership of Naveen over the last five years.
Naveen joined Vodafone India in 2004 as vice president – Corporate Marketing.
Over the last 10 years, Naveen worked as chief marketing officer of Vodafone India, business head of its Mumbai and Rajasthan telecom circles and recently as director of VBS.
