“Anyone following live events – especially sporting events such as Falun2015 – uses multiple sources of information to stay up to date. The Ericsson Networked Event platform makes it possible to collect information, make it available to app developers and give end users the second-screen experience they expect,” said Cecilia Atterwall, head of Strategy, Marketing and Communications at Global Services, Ericsson.

During the 2015 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun, Sweden, fans will have access to up-to-the-minute information and results through two apps: Live Results Falun2015, developed by Triona; and Live Arena Falun2015, developed by Tension Graphics.
